Disguise yourself
as one of them. Why not, they do it to us all the time! (Invasion of
the Body Snatchers, V, Falling Skies, etc.) The ol' Trojan Horse play
seems to work more often than you'd think. If we could just get
inside that mother-ship and deliver a computer virus through a mac
laptop, we might have a chance to bring down all their shields and
infect all their computers (Independence Day). Or, maybe we could
secretly gain audience with the alien overlord posing as somebody
else, only to blow them up with a small nuke we smuggled in with us.
We could join them, pretending to support their cause, and gain
valuable information on exploitable weaknesses. Of course, there is
always the risk that we might end up sympathizing with them—we've
seen that happen on both sides (Avatar, V).
As seven alien races struggle to co-exist in an uneasy alliance, the Inter-Stellar Union sends Union Guard agents on missions to preserve the crucial balance. These specialized operatives must do what regional security cannot, dealing with smugglers, pirates, terrorists, and even greater challenges in order to bring stability to a universe that needs it desperately. Without the Union Guard, the races will not be prepared to face a looming alien threat they can only hope to defeat together.
